New Parents

If you are looking at this website then you have probably had some unexpected news. Like you, we unexpectedly found ourselves parenting a child with Down Syndrome.  After the initial shock of the diagnosis, we have come to realize that our children are just as amazing as any other.  On the DVD clip above, families from the Downright Special group share some of their own experiences of parenting a child with Down Syndrome, from the early weeks through to pre-school years.  We hope you find this useful.

You may also like to have a look at this website which has lots of real-life stories written by parents.
