Are you passionate about building a brighter future for people with Down syndrome in our area? Are you looking for opportunities to work with an established, successful and friendly local charity which is making a real and lasting difference to families? Then have a look at our current opportunities for paid or voluntary work!
We are an equal opportunities employer. We will support you and offer whatever training you need to fulfil your role. Safeguarding is really important to us so all staff and volunteers must have, or be willing to undertake, an enhanced DBS check. We are a friendly and welcoming team and you will have fun making a difference!
Downright Special supports children with Down syndrome in all aspects of their care and education. As part of our ongoing strategy and vision we are now looking for someone to lead the charity’s work in supporting families and professionals in the understanding of the health needs of children with Down syndrome.
Initially this is a temporary part-time post for 4 months, but subject to funding we would hope to extend this to a permanent contract.
