Freedom Activity Support Payments

Freedom Activity Support Payments

Freedom Activity Support Payment (FASP) 2013-2014 - There has been some changes to the application process and eligibility criteria for FASP from last year. The changes should make the process of applying more straightforward for families and also aid the decision making process when dealing with applications. The major difference concerning the application process is that assessments no longer need to be submitted in support of the application form as there is now a closer link with the child’s statement of special educational needs. There has also been a change in the age group – this now covers from 7 years of age up to the childs 18th birthday. For further information please contact the Freedom Activity Support Payment Team on (01482) 396691 or email fasp@eastriding.gov.uk. Applications close on 30 June 2013 - The new criteria can be found on the FISH website,www.fish.eastriding.gov.uk
